Children and adolescents need to feel supported, loved, and safe to develop into healthy and well-adjusted adults. Unfortunately, situations arise where children do not have the ideal conditions for optimal physical or emotional growth.

At Proactive Rehabilitation we provide occupational therapy programming for children and adolescents so that they can catch up with developmental milestones and form a healthy self-esteem and self-schema.
Services include assessment and interventions for:

  • Sensory processing/ sensory integration
  • Gross and fine motor skills development
  • Fostering attachments/ building trust
  • Counselling for abuse, bullying, and trauma
  • Self-esteem, self-image, and self-love therapy
  • Eating and body image disorders
  • Social skills development for overcoming depression and anxiety
